This is an incredibly easy cake to make yet it taste superb! With only five ingredients you’ll be able to create a delicious masterpiece. You can also use cherries or blueberries instead of apples and it’s equally amazing.
I have a deep love for cakes. For me, cakes are a masterpiece, an art. That is why I have huge respect for bakers. I am not a professional baker but I can bake. And one of my favorites is this Apple Angel Dump Cake. It is a simple cake, super easy to make, and you don’t need any fancy ingredients. All it requires are a few readily available ingredients; apple filling, a box of Angel Food cake mix, sugar, cinnamon, and caramel. Whisk, bake, and glaze. Easy peasy, right? It is such a wonderful cake and fun to make. You are also welcome to substitute apples with cherries or blueberries. Whatever filling you put, this cake is crazy delicious! Serve a slice with a dollop of whip cream or vanilla ice cream and caramel for an easy pick me up dessert.
INGREDIENTS
1 can apple filling
1 box Angel Food Cake Mix (Dry)
sugar
cinnamon
caramel (optional)
HOW TO MAKE APPLE ANGEL DUMP CAKE
Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine the dry Angel Food Cake Mix with the apple filling. Mix well.
Step 2: Pour the mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Step 3: Sprinkle over the cinnamon and sugar.
Step 4: Place the pan inside the oven and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
Step 5: Make sure to not over bake. The cake is done once the top is browned but not completely set.
Step 6: If you are using a glass pan, you should bake the cake at 325 degrees.
Step 7: Once done, remove the cake from the oven and serve with a dollop of cool whip or vanilla ice cream and caramel. Enjoy!
