1 tbsp oil
1 or 2 ½ lb. pork tenderloins
2-3 tbsp fresh lemon, lime, or orange juice – (or 1 tbsp of each)
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp cumin
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp smoked paprika – (optional but highly recommended)
How to Make the BEST Baked Pork Tenderloin
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees. Lightly grease a large casserole/baking dish. Using a fork, pierce the tenderloins. On the entire sides of the meat, rub the oil.
Step 2: Mix the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, cumin, salt, chilli powder, smoked paprika (if using), and black pepper until well combined. Sprinkle this on the tenderloins, coating all sides of the meat. Into the prepared baking dish, place the tenderloins and drizzle with lemon/lime juice.
Step 3: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 to 35 minutes or until the outside of the tenderloins has brown and crispy and the centre is cooked.
Step 4: Over the meat, spoon the juices. On a cutting board or in the baking dish, let the tenderloins rest for about 5 to 10 minutes before slicing into 1-inch pieces. Over the slices, spoon the rest of the juices from the pan. Serve the baked pork tenderloin garnished with some fresh chopped cilantro. Enjoy!
