I stayed at a friend’s house summer of 2018. She cooked me meals that I have never tasted before and all of them were amazing! But the one that stood out the most was these Bisquick Chocolate Chip Cookies. She knew how much I love cookies and chocolates, so she did me a huge favour by teaching me her grandmother’s chocolate cookies recipe. Soft, fluffy cookies with semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped nuts. Seriously delicious and incredibly easy and quick to whip up!

When I came back home, I bragged about these cookies. I made batches and give them away as gifts. It’s true what my friend told me that this is the last chocolate chip cookie recipe I will ever need! I have received endless compliments even suggestions to start a cookie business. Crazy right? And who would have thought that with only butter, brown sugar, vanilla, eggs, chocolate chips, and (do not forget the) Bisquick baking mix that these delicious and the most requested cookie is whelped? The chopped nuts are optional, but I suggest not to leave them out if you are not allergic, as it gives an extra crunch to these cookies.

½ c. butter softened
1 c. brown sugar packed
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 Egg
2¾ c. Bisquick baking mix
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (6 ounces)
½ c. nuts chopped, if desired (optional)

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees F.

Step 2: Place the butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg in a large bowl. Mix well until combined, then stir in the Bisquick mix, chocolate chips, and nuts.

Step 3: Onto an ungreased cookie sheet, drop the dough in rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart from each other, then slightly flatten. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.

Step 4: When done, take the cookie sheet out of the oven and onto a cooling rack.
