Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

I am obsessed with making cookies lately. And I know that this amazing recipe will surely make your day awesome! I discovered this recipe while I was browsing the internet for new and simple recipes that I can try. I am so glad that I tried it because I never would have tasted how awesome it is! Give it a try and taste it for yourself. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

2 1/4 cups bread flour
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 stick butter, unsalted
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 cups brown sugar, dark, firmly packed
1 tablespoon half and half cream (or milk)
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 large egg yolk
2 cups chocolate chips (bittersweet)

How to make Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Step 1: In a small bowl, add baking soda, flour, and salt. Whisk until well-mixed then set aside.

Step 2: Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to low. Add in the butter and allow it to melt completely and until the color turns brown.

Step 3: Turn off the heat then add the white and brown sugars. Stir until well-mixed.

Step 4: Transfer the mixture into a mixing bowl. Cream the mixture using an electric mixer. Add in the vanilla extract, eggs, and lemon juice gradually. Stir until well-combined.

Step 5: Add 1/2 of the flour mixture into the batter and mix using an electric mixer.

Step 6: Add in the remaining ingredients and mix until you achieve a soft and buttery texture.

Step 7: Cover with plastic wrap and place inside the fridge for 1 to 2 hours until nice and firm.

Step 8: Ready the oven and preheat to 375 degrees F.

Step 9: Line with parchment paper the baking sheets.

Step 10: Spoon tablespoons of the cookie dough roll it into balls. Use your hands for this method.

Step 11: Put about 12 balls on 1 baking sheet. Leave a 1-inch space between each ball.

Step 12: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until cooked through.

Step 13: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool for at least 5 minutes.

Step 14: Serve warm and enjoy!

Note: The bake time of the balls may be longer than 12 minutes. It depends on how big they are.
