CABBAGE ROLL CASSEROLE

If you want an easy and quick dinner tonight, then you are in the right place. Ground beef mixed with onion, cabbage, tomato sauce, rice, beef broth, and baked in perfection! A real simple dish that gives so much comfort, filling flavours, and incredible textures in every bite. Taste pretty dang good you want to dig straight in! Don’t worry about any leftovers because this freezes well, and I highly doubt if there will be any leftovers. Enough to feed the crowd, and mouthwatering, your whole family will love this for sure! Ingredients

2 pounds ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 (29 ounces) can tomato sauce
3 ½ pounds chopped cabbage
1 cup uncooked white rice
1 teaspoon salt
2 (14 ounces) can beef broth

HOW TO MAKE CABBAGE ROLL CASSEROLE

Step 1: Ready the oven. Preheat it to 175 degrees F or 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef until brown and drain any excess oil.

Step 3: Combine the tomato sauce, cabbage, rice, onion, and salt in a large bowl until well mixed. Add in the cooked beef and mix until incorporated.

Step 4: Place the beef mixture into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking dish. And pour over the broth.

Step 5: Bake in the preheated oven for about an hour, covered. Uncover and bake for 30 minutes more.

Step 6: Allow the casserole to cool for at least 5 minutes at room temperature before serving. Enjoy!
