How to make Cajun Shrimp Scampi
Step 1: On medium-high heat, heat the pan and add in the butter, olive oil, and a touch of white wine. Bring the mixture into a boil.
Step 2: Add in the garlic and continue cooking for 2 minutes more before adding the shrimps.
Step 3: Generously season the shrimps with the Cajun seasoning.
Step 4: Cook the shrimp until pink and flip to cook the other side for a minute.
Step 5: Once the shrimps are all pink and cooked, remove from the pan, and leave the liquid.
Step 6: Put the heavy cream in the same pan along with basil, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Step 7: Bring the mixture to a boil, then, whisk in sprinkles of flour until the sauce thickened.
Step 8: reduce the heat to medium-low before adding back the shrimps.
Step 9: Give it a good toss to coat the shrimps with sauce.
Step 10: Serve the shrimps over pasta and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
