Sweet and savoury caramelized Brussels Sprouts – oven-baked to perfection. Great flavours and textures that always makes the crowd ask for more! Oven-roasted Brussels Sprouts tossed in honey and balsamic vinegar glaze. Not surprisingly easy to prepare, surely not fussy, and requires only a few simple pantry ingredients. Picky eaters and veggie haters are one hundred per cent obsessed with this delicious dish. This dish will be your new healthy addiction – super tasty, goes along with just about anything, and an excellent addition to your weekly menu rotation.
I must say, I was never a big fan of Brussels Sprouts but all that changed when I came across this recipe. Who would have thought that such an easy dish would be so addictively delicious!
Ingredients
1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
1 tablespoon good quality balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons honey, or to taste
How to make Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic and Honey
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 425 degrees F or 220 degrees C.
Step 2: Use parchment paper to line a baking sheet.
Step 3: In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss until the Brussels sprouts are coated.
Step 4: Transfer onto the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and roast for about 30 minutes or until browned. Turn the Brussels sprouts after 15 minutes.
Step 6: Take the dish out of the oven and drizzle with balsamic vinegar and honey. Mix until evenly coated.
