CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS CASSEROLE

Others are intimidated with this casserole but it is actually pretty easy to make. Ready in less than an hour with simple ingredients, this surely will be a huge hit. Rich, tasty, flavorful, cheesy, and creamy dish to wow everyone!

Ingredients

1 chicken
1 small diced onion
1 stick butter
2 c Bisquick
2 c of milk
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1 tbsp (or cube) chicken broth paste
1 tsp poultry seasoning
salt and pepper to taste

HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS CASSEROLE

Step 1: Heat a pot with enough water over high heat. Add in the chicken, salt, and pepper and bring to a boil.

Step 2: Take the chicken out of the pot and remove the bone. Set aside.

Step 3: Ready the oven. Preheat it to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 4: For the first layer, add a stick of melted butter in a 9 x 12-inch baking dish. Place the chicken over the butter and season with salt and pepper.

Step 5: Second layer, add 2 cups of Bisquick, milk, and poultry seasoning in a medium mixing bowl. Mix well.

Step 6: For the third layer, combine the pasta and 2 cups of warm broth in a small mixing bowl until well mixed.

Step 7: Drizzle the mixture on top of the dish and do not stir.

Step 8: Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 to 60 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 9: Once done, remove from the oven and onto a wire rack. Allow cooling for at least 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature.
