I have been enjoying this crack chicken for years! It is one of the best crockpot recipes to try. All you need are boneless skinless chicken breasts, ranch seasoning, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and bacon. It is one of the easiest recipes out there. Simply cook the chicken, shred using two forks when done, and mix with cheese and bacon. Before you know it, you’ll have this on your dinner table in time for dinner! Serve this crack chicken on buns or however way you want it.
Most of the days I struggle to give much effort and time to cook for my family. I am a working mom, and when I get home, I always find myself super tired. But I am very thankful that I have a very understanding family. If you are like me, I am sure you know where I am coming from. Thank goodness to slow cooker and crockpot recipes, I get to prepare decent, delicious, most of the time budget-friendly meals for my family without too much fuss!
2.8 ounces bacon bits
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 packages cream cheese 8 ounces each, cubed
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1-ounce packet ranch seasoning mix
How to make Crack Chicken
Step 1: Using a nonstick spray, grease your crockpot. On the bottom of the pot, place the chicken breasts and top with ranch seasoning and cubed cream cheese.
Step 2: Cover the pot and set to cook for 6 to 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high.
Step 3: Using two forks, shred the chicken when done.
Step 4: To the chicken, add the cheese and bacon. Stir well and continue to cook for about 10 to 15 minutes on low or until the cheese has melted.
