Creamy Tuscan Sausage Gnocchi

This creamy Tuscan Sausage Gnocchi screams nothing but comfort! It is one of the best meals I’ve had this week. I just recently tried this (thanks to a good friend). I have been eyeing this recipe for so long, and finally, I was able to make it! It is freaking good and so easy and quick to make. The sauce is nothing but amazing! Make sure to give this a try very soon. This will guarantee you the best meal of your life!


3 cloves garlic minced
8.8 oz. Italian sausages crumbled
1/2 c. chicken broth
1 lb. potato gnocchi
1 tsp lemon juice
1 c. heavy/whipping cream
1/4 c. sun-dried tomatoes
1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1.5 c. (packed) fresh baby spinach
Salt & pepper to taste
Fresh basil (optional) to taste

How to make Creamy Tuscan Sausage Gnocchi

Step 1: Remove the sausage meat out of the casings. Add into a deep skillet, breaking it into small pieces. Saute the sausage for about 5 to 7 minutes over medium-high heat until no longer pink.

Step 2: Add the garlic, stir, and cook for additional 30 seconds.

Step 3: To the pan, add the chicken broth, cream, lemon juice, sun-dried tomatoes, and gnocchi. Stir well. Adjust the heat to medium and cook for about 5 minutes, covered.

Step 4: Remove the cover and stir the gnocchi. Add the spinach and replace the lid. Continue to cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the spinach has wilted.

Step 5: Add the Parmesan cheese and basil. Stir until incorporated. If needed, cook for a minute more to make sure the gnocchi is completely cooked and the sauce has thickened.

Step 6: To taste, season with salt and pepper. Enjoy the Creamy Tuscan Sausage Gnocchi right away. Enjoy!


1. For this recipe, pre-cooking the gnocchi is not required as it cooks right into the sauce.

2. Drain the oil before adding the oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes (from the jar) to the skillet.
