Perfect for the busy days, this easy CrockPot Pepper Steak is my life saviour! Nutritious and very easy to throw together with only a few simple ingredients. This simple yet delicious dish is best to serve over brown or white rice for a complete meal.
I am a busy mom, and I often look for easy and quick but still nutritious meals to serve my family. This recipe made it to my weekly rotation. Made easy in a crockpot, this here is the real deal and a keeper! With minimal to no effort, you can certainly pull this off whenever you want to. Ready the ingredients, add them to the slow cooker, and leave. Easy peasy! Before you know it, it is ready to serve. So good, this is more than enough to feed the hungry tummies!
Ingredients
1 pound thin-sliced sirloin steak
1 thinly sliced green pepper
1 c sliced fresh mushrooms
1 thinly sliced onion (white or red)
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 clove minced garlic
1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
How to make Crock Pot Pepper Steak
Step 1: Into the slow cooker, add the first four ingredients (sirloin steak, sliced green pepper, sliced fresh mushrooms, and onions.
Step 2: Add the rest of the ingredients (soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, and red pepper) in a small bowl. Whisk well to combine.
Step 3: Pour the mixture over the meat and vegetables in the slow cooker.
Step 4: Set on low and cook for 6 to 8 hours.
Step 5: When done, serve the Pepper Steak over rice. Enjoy!
