This an amazing meal in one with melt in your mouth tender beef, mushrooms, broccoli, and noodles tossed in the most delicious garlic sauce! Incredibly easy to make in just one pot for easy clean-up and ready in just under twenty minutes. Seriously, this is one of the best Asian-inspired dishes – pretty impressive, you’ll never get enough of it!

My first choice when making Broccoli and Beef is flank steak as it is already tender and takes a little time to cook. But the truth is you can use your preferred steak and simply thinly slice it against the grain. Wait no more, make this tonight for a guaranteed great meal that your family will love!


8 oz. wide rice noodles
3 c. broccoli florets
1 tbsp olive oil
8 oz. flank steak sliced against the grain
3 garlic cloves minced
8 oz. mushrooms sliced
¼ c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. reduced-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
¼ tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
¼ tsp pepper
1 tbsp cornstarch


Step 1: Following the package directions, cook the noodles in a large pot of boiling water. In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli and cook them until tender. When done, drain the noodles and broccoli.

Step 2: In the meantime, heat the olive oil in a medium-sized skillet. Add the steak to the hot oil and cook until no longer pink. Then, add the garlic and mushrooms and continue to cook for another minute.

Step 3: Place the brown sugar soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper, pepper, and cornstarch in a small bowl. Whisk until everything is combined.

Step 4: To the skillet, add the noodles and pour the sauce over, then gently toss.
