Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese Is a Genius Lunch or Dinner

Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese has been a popular American comfort food for quite some time. This version of garlic bread brings the ordinary grilled cheese sandwich to the next point. Serve garlic bread grilled cheese sandwiches for dipping with a marinara sauce or pizza sauce, or serve them with tomato soup, or salad for a delicious dinner or lunchtime. It’s all about a grilled cheese you love except it’s more garlicky. That is, it is very, very nice. You can tweak the ingredients and make your version of this recipe.

Grilled cheese sandwiches are always a success, but those grilled cheese sandwiches in garlic bread are awesome. My daughter liked them so much that two days in a row, she asked them for lunch. Ingredients:

4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
2 tbsp of chopped fresh parsley
1 tbsp grated Pecorino Romano cheese
(1) clove garlic, minced
(4) slices white bread
(4) slices provolone cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.

2. In a bowl, combine butter, parsley, Pecorino Romano cheese, and garlic. Stir to combine.

3. Coat lightly one side of each bread slice with the butter mixture. Flip the bread and top 2 slices evenly with provolone cheese and mozzarella cheese. Cover with remaining bread slices, buttered-sides up.

4. Place sandwiches into the hot skillet. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until one of the side turns golden brown. Flip and cook until golden brown on the second side and cheese has melted, 3 to 4 minutes more. Cut each sandwich in half and serve.
