Whole chicken roasted in garlic butter with mouthwatering gravy. Yum! This recipe is my new crockpot BFF. The easiest and the most delicious way of cooking a whole chicken! The garlic butter gives the chicken so much flavour, leave the skin moist, and the meat tender. And because this is a crockpot recipe, I don’t need to spend forever in the kitchen. I just put everything in the pot and go. And when it is ready, I am guaranteed a mouthful and delicious meal that my family will love and enjoy. This dish surely a keeper. Perfect for busy bees like me, and for the whole family!

5 lbs whole chicken
salt and pepper
5 clove garlic; mashed smooth
1/4 lb butter
1/2 c canned chicken broth

Step 1: Use cold water to wash and rinse the chicken.

Step 2: Pat them dry with paper towels and discard any excess fat.

Step 3: Press the peeled and minced garlic with a knife until it becomes a paste. For faster outcome, sprinkle with a bit of salt.

Step 4: Inside the cavity, rub half f the garlic paste and the remaining over the entire chicken.

Step 5: Sprinkle the inside and out of the chicken with an ample amount of paprika, salt, and pepper.

Step 6: Layer the chicken in the middle of the crockpot.

Step 7: Over the breasts, drop dollops of batter and pour in the broth.

Step 8: Place the remaining butter over the chicken.

Step 9: Cook on low heat for about 6 to 8 hours, covered. And don’t peak.

Step 10: Once done, serve the chicken on a plate and drizzle over the sauce. Enjoy!
