GRILLED CABBAGE

When you search the internet you’ll see a lot of surprising things that you never thought is possible. It is just amazing how people think. How creative we can be. And I can say the same with food. The recipes I normally see online are crazy! Just like this grilled cabbage. When I stumbled upon this recipe I thought is it even possible or delicious? It took me a long time to try it. Then, one day when I just thought okay why not? And man, this is awesome! Buttered cabbage wedges coated with spices and wrapped in bacon. Wow! I cook it alongside steak or burgers on the grill. And I am surprised that my kids love this grilled treat. You know what they say, don’t judge until you try it first. And the beauty of it is it is super easy to make, just throw it on the grill alongside your steak, barbeque, or burgers. If you haven’t tried grilled cabbage I think it is time to start. I promise this grilled beauty right here is insanely delicious! All you need are some plain and simple ingredients. It is a risk worth taking! Enjoy!

Ingredients

1 head cabbage
4 teaspoons butter
4 slices bacon
Spice mix
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

HOW TO MAKE GRILLED CABBAGE

Step 1: With a sharp knife, slice the cabbage into four wedges.

Step 2: In a heavy-duty aluminum foil, place the sliced cabbage and spread each slice with butter.

Step 3: In a small container, mix the spices.

Step 4: And generously sprinkle the mixture over the wedges.

Step 5: Then, wrap each wedge with bacon.

Step 6: Seal the cabbage tightly by folding the foil around the cabbage.

Step 7: Cover and grill the cabbage over medium heat for about 40 minutes or until tender. Turn each side twice.
