This is the most delicious salmon recipe you can throw together in a cinch! Perfectly pan-fried salmon fillets glazed in a luscious Homemade Sriracha Honey Sauce. I’m pretty sure you’ll love this honey sriracha salmon as much as I do!

Ingredients

2 tablespoons / 1 ounce / 30 grams Unsalted Butter
4 x 7 ounces/200 grams Skinless Salmon Fillets (brought to room temp)
1 tablespoon Light/All Purpose Soy Sauce
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper (plus more, if needed)
1/4 c. / 70 grams Honey
1 tablespoon Sriracha
Olive Oil, as needed
1 tablespoon Fresh Lime Juice (save wedges to serve)
1/2 teaspoon each: Garlic Powder, Salt (plus more, if needed)

To serve:

Rice
Lime Wedges
Spring/Green Onion, sliced
Sesame Seeds

HOW TO MAKE HONEY SRIRACHA SALMON

Step 1: Add the 1/4c. (70grams) honey and 1 tablespoon sriracha, lime juice, and soy sauce in a small pot. Whisk until blended, then adjust the taste depending on your preference.

Step 2: Sprinkle all sides of the salmon fillets with half tsp each garlic powder and salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Rub the seasonings into the salmon skin.

Step 3: In a non-stick frying pan, drizzle the olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the salmon to the pan, up-side-down, and sear for about 3 minutes until golden. Flip the salmon, making space for the butter.

Step 4: To the pan, drop 2 tbsp butter, then baste the salmon to it for about a minute or two until the other side of the salmon begins to turn golden. As soon as the salmon begins to flake and cook to your desired doneness, take it out of the pan.

Step 5: In the same pan, add the honey sriracha sauce. Adjust the heat to medium heat and cook until the sauce has thickened. Spoon the sauce over the salmon fillets and serve over rice garnished with some sesame seeds and spring onion. I prefer to add an extra squeeze of lime juice. Enjoy!
