Loaded Crack Potatoes

It is guaranteed the best crack potatoes you will ever have! A snap to put together and requires only simple and easy to find ingredients. A completely addicting potato dish! Goes super awesome with chicken, pork, or beef. A one heck of loaded crack potatoes that will have your family and guests coming back for seconds and thirds, and leave them disappointed when it’s all gone. This feeds the crowd but you can easily half the recipe to feed a family of four.

This creamy potato dish is loaded with cheddar, bacon, and ranch. It is so good, I can’t resist for a second, third serving! An amazing side dish that goes great with just about anything. This is not your regular potato casserole, it is way better! A shoot to the moon delicious! Have a bite and you’ll know. Wink.

INGREDIENTS

cooking spray
1 (32 ounce) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided, or more to taste

How to make Loaded Crack Potatoes

Step 1: Ready the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.

Step 2: Spray a 13 x 9-inch baking pan with cooking spray or grease with butter.

Step 3: In a large bowl, combine the hash browns, sour cream, bacon, ranch mix, and a cup of cheddar cheese. Mix until incorporated.

Step 4: Evenly spread the hash brown mixture into the prepared baking pan, then, cover with aluminum foil.

Step 5: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes.

Step 6: After 45 minutes, remove from the oven and take off the cover. Evenly sprinkle across the potatoes the remaining cheddar cheese.

Step 7: Put it back in the oven and continue baking for about 15 minutes or until the top is bubbly and the edges are lightly browned.
