How to make Make-Ahead Salad Casserole

Step 1: Whisk the mayonnaise, miracle whip, and sugar in a medium bowl. Season with salt and black pepper. Set aside.

Step 2: Smash the stem of the iceberg lettuce to loosen it, then, push it in until the lettuce releases its stem. Chop the lettuce and put in a 9x 13-inch baking dish.

Step 3: Add in the thawed and drained peas, then the diced Swiss Cheese, followed by the green onions.

Step 4: Drizzle the dressing over the mixture. Gently toss until all everything is coated evenly.

Step 5: Lastly, top the casserole with bacon bits and place inside the fridge, covered with aluminum foil or plastic wrap, until ready to serve.
