No-Bake Peanut Butter Cookies

These no-bake chocolate butter cookies invoke my mother’s fond memories. They were her favorite, and when she realized that a lot of guests are coming, she always made a batch. It is truly a lifesaver because it is not time-consuming, just merely 10 minutes, and you’re ready to serve this to the crowd. Generally, some people like this with cocoa but I like this one more.

It became a staple during a family gathering, and I’m always excited to help my mom when she’s preparing these cookies. I tried mimicking my mom in the kitchen, doing what she does that may end up destroying something in the kitchen. My mom, as a total angel, as she is, will only laugh at my clumsiness. Thinking about it now made me realize how my mom affects me as a person so much, she’s so selfless that she’s always there whenever someone needs a helping hand, she’s also very supportive towards our dreams and provides us with the greatest advice I ever received that goes like this, just keep moving even if its hard just take one step forward. I think these cookies reflect how good of a person my mom is. Until now, I still serve my children with this recipe and create memories as though I were a child.


3 cups white sugar
¾ cup butter
¾ cup milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ cups peanut butter
4 ½ cups quick-cooking oats


Add and combine sugar, butter, and milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Let it reach a rapid boil for a full minute. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and peanut butter. Mix in oats, stirring until the mixture begins to cool. Use a large bowl if it does not fit into the pan well. Drop the batter by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let it cool until set.
