With quite strong salty/olive flavour, this Olive Cheese Bread is perfect to pair with green salad, soup, or spaghetti, or as a great appetizer carved into thin slices. If you are not an olive fan, this might be a bit strong for you but if you are an olive lover, this is just perfect! Do not be deceived by how incredibly simple, easy, and quick to throw together because this is so delightfully delicious, flavorful, and always a guaranteed hit!

My guests went gaga over this Olive Cheese Bread! I prepared this last weekend as we had a simple get-together and they all loved it! Blabbing out about how delicious this is. I am forced to sent the recipe to their email addresses then and there! The main reason I am writing this down now for everyone to try. For some, this might be a little strong but if you are like me who loves olives so much, I promise you’ll dig this!

1 loaf French Bread
8 ounces weight Pimiento-stuffed Green Olives
8 ounces weight Black Olives
2 stalks Green Onions (scallions)
1 stick Butter, Room Temperature
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1 pound Monterey Jack Cheese, Grated

How to make Olive Cheese Bread

Step 1: Ready the black olives and pimiento-stuffed green olives. Roughly chop them. And into thin pieces, slice the green onions.

Step 2: In a mixing bowl, add the butter, mayonnaise, cheese, olives, and green onions. Combine until the ingredients are mixed.

Step 3: Onto French bread that has been sliced lengthwise, spread the mixture. Place in a preheated 350 degrees F and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes until the cheese has melted and starts browning.

You can serve the dip with crackers or place it in the fridge for up to 2 days and enjoy it as a dip.
