Who doesn’t love potato fries? I bet most of the people loves potato fries. I am one of those people who will make time just to go to my favorite fast-food chain and complete my meal with fries. But sometimes, it’s a hassle to go out and buy your favorite french fries because there are times that you just want to stay at home. I know that there is an option wherein you can call the restaurant or food chain to deliver your food, right? However, for this, there is an additional charge.
Thankfully, I found this Oven Roasted Parmesan Potatoes recipe on the internet, and I tried it because why not? These roasted Parmesan potatoes are so delicious, and they taste like crispy little fried nuggets wrapped in parmesan cheese.
Ingredients:
(1) serving cooking spray
1 tsp vegetable oil, or as needed
2 tbsp freshly grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
¼ tsp ground black pepper
2 pounds red potatoes, halved
1 tbsp vegetable oil, or as needed
¼ cup sour cream
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven about 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan or cast-iron skillet with cooking spray; pour in about a tsp of vegetable oil to coat the bottom.
2. In a bowl, add and mix Parmesan cheese, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
3. Blot the cut-side of potatoes with a paper towel to remove any moisture. Add and place the potatoes in a bowl and drizzle with a tbsp of vegetable oil; toss until potatoes are lightly coated. Sprinkle the potatoes with Parmesan cheese mixture; toss to coat. Arrange the potatoes, cut-side down, onto the prepared baking pan.
4. In the preheated oven, bake it for 15 to 20 minutes. Turn potatoes to cut-side up; continue baking for 15 to 20 more minutes until golden and crispy. Serve it with sour cream.
