INGREDIENTS
2 ounces smoked Gouda cheese, shredded
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 (2 1/4 inch thick) center-cut, bone-in pork chops
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
ground black pepper
How to make Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon
Step 1: Ready the outdoor grill. Preheat it to medium heat.
Step 2: Combine the cheese, bacon, parsley, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper in a small bowl.
Step 3: Place the chop flat on a cutting board. Cut a pocket into the pork with a sharp knife held parallel to the board. Slice to the bone but make sure to leave the sides intact.
Step 4: Stuff the cheese mixture into the pockets and close using a wooden toothpick.
Step 5: Then, brush the meat with some oil, season with salt and more black pepper.
Step 6: Oil the grill grate lightly and grill the pork chops for about 5 to 8 minutes over medium heat. Once done, transfer to a serving plate and serve. Enjoy!
