INGREDIENTS

3 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
4 ounces cheddar cheese, cut into 1/4 inch cubes
1 1/4 cups milk
3/4 cup sour cream
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 egg, lightly beaten

HOW TO MAKE RED LOBSTER’S CHEESE BISCUIT (IN A LOAF)

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees. And with oil, grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

Step 2: Whisk the flour, baking powder, salt, cayenne pepper, and black pepper in a bowl.

Step 3: Slowly stir in the cheddar cheese cubes. Carefully mix until the cubes are covered in flour mixture. This way the cheese will prevent from sinking into the bottom of the loaf bread.

Step 4: Combine the milk, melted butter, and egg in a separate bowl.

Step 5: Fold the wet mixture into the flour-cheese mixture. Make sure to not over stir. Mix until just incorporated.

Step 6: Pour the mixture into the loaf pan and spread evenly.

Step 7: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.

Step 8: Once done, remove from the oven and let the loaf cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes. Then, remove the loaf from the pan to cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!
