Sweet and moist Cinnamon Roll Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

A decadent dessert or breakfast with a classic cream cheese frosting. Cinnamon rolls are great as is but with this simple recipe you can make them into a star! The warm, delicious flavours of cinnamon rolls made extra special because of the sweet cream cheese frosting. Serve right from the oven with a cup of freshly brewed coffee for breakfast or brunch or as a dessert. This comes together in a heartbeat and will surely impress everybody.


3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup of sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
2 eggs
1 stick melted butter


2 stick butter, room temperature
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp cinnamon


4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1- 11/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
4-6 tbsp milk ( depending on how thick you like your glaze)

How to make Sweet and moist Cinnamon Roll Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.

Step 2: Use a bakers joy to grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.

Step 3: In a mixing bowl, add the flour, salt, sugar, milk, and eggs. Mix well before gradually beating in the melted butter until incorporated. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan.

Step 4: In another bowl, mix the butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon with a beater until combined.

Step 5: Drop in little mounds the batter on the entire cake. Make swirls or marble using a butter knife. Be careful not to scrape the bottom of the pan.

Step 6: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 to 35 minutes.

Step 7: Meanwhile, combine the glaze ingredients until you get your desired consistency.

Step 8: Take the cake out of the oven and cool for at least 30 minutes.

Step 9: Glaze the cake while still a bit warm.
