Yummy Apple Slab Pie

What a nice day to make this amazing pie! I just love how creamy and sweet this pie is. Last week, my best friend went to my house and she introduced me to this amazing recipe. She told me that I was about to taste the perfect pie ever. She was right! Since that day, I was baking this Apple Slab Pie non-stop. It is a very healthy and sweet treat that you will enjoy pretty much every single day! I hope you enjoy this recipe. Just follow all the steps and you are in for a treat. Enjoy!


1 box refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box
1 cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
9 cups thinly sliced, peeled apples (9 medium)
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk

How to make Yummy Apple Slab Pie

Step 1: Ready the oven and preheat to 450 degrees F.

Step 2: Take out the pie crusts from the pouches.

Step 3: Unroll the crusts and put one on top of the other crust. Place them on a floured surface.

Step 4: Roll the crust into a 17×12-inch rectangle shape.

Step 5: Place inside a 15x10x1-inch pan and flatten the corners.

Step 6: In a medium mixing bowl, add flour, cinnamon, lemon juice, sugar, and salt. Whisk until well-mixed.

Step 7: Add in the apples then coat them completely.

Step 8: Transfer the apples into the lined pan.

Step 9: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 33 to 38 minutes or until the color of the crust becomes golden brown.

Step 10: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool for at least 45 minutes.

Step 11: In a small bowl, pour the milk and add the sugar. Mix until well blended.

Step 12: Spread the mixture on top of the cooled pie and allow it to incorporate the glaze for 30 minutes.

Step 13: Serve and enjoy!
