You can substitute bread crumbs with crushed croutons if desired. I guarantee it is crunchier, but if croutons are not available that’s okay, just stick to bread crumbs. Also, I suggest you try dipping the chicken in Italian dressing instead of mayo as it makes the chicken stays moist and tender. Again, these are fantastic substitutions that you can try or you can simply follow this easy recipe. Either way, this Italian Baked Chicken is going to be a huge hit!

Ingredients

¾ c. mayonnaise
½ c. grated Parmesan cheese
¾ tsp garlic powder
¾ c. Italian seasoned bread crumbs
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

How to make Flavorful Tender Italian Baked Chicken

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 425 degrees F or 220 degrees C.

Step 2: Combine the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder in a bowl. And in a different bowl, place the bread crumbs. Into the mayonnaise mixture, dip the chicken and coat them in bread crumbs. Then, on a baking sheet, arrange the coated chicken.

Step 3: Place in the preheated oven and bake the chicken for about 20 minutes or until their juices run clear and the coating turned golden brown.
