I love all kinds of pie, and this cabbage pie is not your ordinary pie. Filled with thinly sliced cabbage mixed with simple pantry ingredients in a flaky dough. See the ingredient list for other great filling options (melted butter, boiled eggs, salt, pepper, Vegeta, and green onions).

This is a very delicious cabbage pie that you can easily turn into a low carb or keto by simply using half a cup of almond flour. Serve a slice with a dollop of sour cream. You can even serve this as a side for a satisfying meal perfect for everyone!

Ingredients

3 eggs
2 c. shredded Cabbage
3 tablespoons Mayonnaise
5 tablespoons (1/3 c.) Sour Cream
6 tablespoons flour (or use 1/2 c. of almond flour for Keto)
3 tablespoons green onion
1 tablespoon dill
Sesame seeds (for sprinkling)
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons Baking powder

Other great filling options:

3-4 tablespoons melted butter
3 boiled eggs, cut into small cubes
Salt, pepper, Vegeta
1 c. of sliced green onion

How to make Delicious Cabbage Pie

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Thinly shred the cabbage. Sprinkle with salt and knead using your hands to release the juices. Then, add the green and mix well.

Step 3: Next, fluff the eggs and mix with sour cream and mayo.

Step 4: To the egg mixture, add the dry ingredients. Mix well.

Step 5: Under and over the cabbage, pour the dough. Combine just a little on top so the dough can go through the cabbage. Then, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chives.

Step 6: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
