PREP TIME: 10 MINS | COOK TIME: 20 MINS | TOTAL TIME: 30 MINS | YIELD: About 20 Bites
I found another amazing party food that anyone can make in a jiffy! These three-ingredient crescent sausage bites are super simple finger food and never fail to impress everyone. And a great recipe to use leftover sausage.
My daughter is a young chef. She loves to cook with me. Cooking is our favourite bonding moment. We spend time in the kitchen or the grocery. One of our favourites to make is these crescent sausage bites. Made with crescent rolls, cream cheese, and hot sausage and ready in under thirty minutes. We love pairing these bites up with some fresh fruits or a simple side salad for a simple and quick meal. Leftovers are amazing, too! I swear my daughter can eat these delicious crescent sausage bites every single day!
INGREDIENTS
2 packages of crescent rolls
1 (8 ounces) package of cream cheese
Dash salt & ground black pepper
1 pound hot sausage (pork or turkey)
HOW TO MAKE 3-INGREDIENT CRESCENT SAUSAGE BITES
Step 1: Cook the sausage in a saute pan until no longer pink. Season with a dash of salt and pepper, then add the cream cheese. Blend until melted.
Step 2: Place the unrolled package of crescent rolls on a baking sheet. Gently press the seams together using your fingers to seal the crescent rolls. Over the crescent roll dough, evenly spread the sausage mixture, leaving around half-inch border on the edges.
Step 3: Unroll the rest of the crescent rolls and put them over the sausage mixture. Then, press the edges to seal.
Step 4: Place in a 375 degrees oven and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes or until the crescent roll dough is golden brown.
Step 5: Remove from the oven when done and slice crescent sausage into small squares. Serve and enjoy!
NOTE:
Serve these crescent sausage bites as party food or pair these with some fruits for a simple breakfast, brunch, or dinner.
