Biscuits and Gravy with Sausage and Egg Breakfast Casserole

This breakfast casserole is made with biscuits, sausage, eggs, milk, and shredded cheese. All your breakfast favorites in one pan. Super easy to throw together, and you can also prep this the night before. Perfect for lazy mornings, you just have to pop this in the oven the next day, and you have a filling breakfast/brunch that everyone will love! Ingredients

6 Eggs
8 count package of biscuit dough (we used Grands, which are slightly bigger)
1/2 c. milk
1 (2 3/4 oz.) package peppered gravy mix (makes 2 c.)
1 c. cheese, shredded
salt and pepper to taste
1 pound sausage, any flavor

How to make Biscuits and Gravy with Sausage and Egg Breakfast Casserole

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees. Ready a 13 x 9-inch pan. Grease and set aside.

Step 2: In a skillet, cook the sausage until brown. When done, drain thoroughly.

Step 3: Into 1-inch pieces, cut the biscuit dough and line the bottom of the prepared pan with the biscuit dough pieces. Spread the cooked sausage on top and sprinkle with shredded cheese.

Step 4: Combine the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Then, pour this over the layers.

Step 5: Following the package directions, make the gravy. Pour this on top of everything.

Step 6: Place in the preheated oven and bake the casserole for about 35 to 45 minutes or until the eggs and biscuits are completely cooked.

Step 7: Remove from the oven when done and serve the casserole warm. Enjoy!

Notes:

1. You can prep this casserole the night before and bake, adding about 20 minutes to the cooking time until the eggs and biscuits are completely set. If the casserole is browning too much, tent the casserole with foil.

2. Feel free to double the amount of the gravy.
