You haven’t had the best lasagna if you haven’t tried this recipe yet! This Cowboy Lasagna is insanely delicious and very easy to prepare! This is a total family favorite! A must-try recipe, I’m telling you!
Ingredients:
One can of tomato soup – 10 3/4 ounces
One can of corn – 15.25 ounces
1 pound of ground beef
One package of tater tots – 32 ounces
Salt and Pepper to taste
Parsley – roughly 3 tablespoons, divided
Dried ground mustard – 3 teaspoons
Worcestershire sauce – a generous sprinkling
Mozzarella cheese – roughly 4 c
Minced onions – 4 tablespoons
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat it to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray to the inside of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high. Add the ground beef, then cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown. Add spices, stir and cook for a few more minutes. Discard any accumulated fat from the meat.
Add the can of corn and soup, then stir until well blended. Let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
Lay the tater tots into the prepared baking dish and arrange them in one layer.
Scatter about 2 cups of cheese over the tater tots. Make sure to cover them well.
Add the ground beef mixture on top of the cheese layer and spread it evenly.
Scatter the rest of the cheese, followed by 1 tablespoon of parsley on top of the meat layer.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake the lasagna for about 30 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and allow the lasagna to rest for at least 5 minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
