This recipe was made easy and healthy with the help of your Air Fryer! These Cream Cheese Sausage Balls with Mustard Sauce are the perfect finger food to serve today! Ingredients:
FOR THE SAUSAGE BALLS
2 c Bisquick
1 c shredded cheddar
1 tsp onion powder
8 oz. of cream cheese at room temperature
1 tsp garlic powder
1 lb. pork sausage, regular variety or hot
FOR THE MUSTARD DIP
2 tbsp sour cream
2 tbsp stone ground mustard
1 tsp dill
2 tbsp mayonnaise
Directions:
For the Meatballs:
In a large mixing bowl, onion powder, garlic powder, pork, cheddar cheese, Bisquick, and cream cheese. Stir everything until well incorporated. Make small balls out of the mixture.
Place some of the meatballs into the basket of the air fryer and arrange them in a single layer.
Cook the meatballs for about 6 minutes at 390 degrees F or until they brown. Repeat the process with the rest of the meatballs. Move them to a large serving plate.
For the Dip:
Add mustard, mayonnaise, dill, and sour cream into a mixing bowl. Stir everything until well blended.
Serve the meatballs with the dip. Enjoy!
Notes:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then put them in the fridge. Reheat for a few minutes before serving again.
Feel free to use your preferred type of sausage for this recipe. I highly recommend spicy sausage to give these balls a kick in each bite!
