Crazy Crust Pie

by 247tasty

One word to describe this pie – astonishing! This easy to make pie has a crazy crust that forms itself when baking. It is like a cobbler and a pie in a pan.

My grandmother loves pie. She taught me many recipes including her favorite pie. It has basic ingredients that you can easily find in your pantry. Growing up I watched her made this amazing pie with a variety of fruit pie filling from apple, cherry, peach to my favorite blueberry. She said, when you cook you have to be in a great mood so that your dish will be as delicious. Well, it is so true for me. This crazy crust pie has been my favorite since then. And I thank my nana for teaching me how to make this delicious pie. It is a recipe that I will teach my kids, too. A keeper and to die for! A pretty simple pie that you can easily whip up in less than an hour. One of my favorite treats to bring to a potluck and undeniably a crowd-pleaser.

How to make Crazy Crust Pie

Step 2: Once incorporated, pour the mixture into a well-greased 9-inch pie plate.

Step 3: Then, pour the filling to an inch into the center of the batter and sprinkle with sugar. If you are using apple or peach, sprinkle instead with cinnamon sugar. Make sure to not mix.

Step 4: Place inside the oven and bake at 375 degrees for about 35 to 40 minutes or until the dough is brown and done. This recipe makes 6 servings. Enjoy!
