I am very excited to share this recipe with you today because I know that you are going to love it! It will only take you about an hour to prepare and cook this Taco Lasagna! Made with incredible ingredients, you will be amazed by how this could make your day complete! Invite everyone over and surprise them with this spectacular dish! Ingredients:
5 c shredded Mexican-style cheese
24 oz. mild Pace salsa
1 package of lasagna noodles
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 Egg
sour cream
diced tomatoes
15 oz. ricotta cheese
2 packages of taco seasoning
green onions
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat it to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high. Add the ground beef, then cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown. Remove any accumulated fat from the meat.
Sprinkle the taco seasoning on top of the ground beef, then stir to coat. Remove the skillet from the stove.
Add ricotta cheese and eggs into a mixing bowl. Whisk until well incorporated.
Put the lasagna noodles into a baking dish and arrange them in a single layer. I used about 5 noodles.
Add ricotta mixture, followed by beef, 1/3 of salsa, and cheese over the noodles. Repeat the process until everything is arranged in layers ending with cheese. Cover the entire dish with foil.
Place it in the preheated oven and bake the lasagna for about 40 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
Top each serving with slices of tomato, green onions, and a dollop of sour cream.
