1/4 c. flour
1 tbsp olive oil or as needed

How to make Baked Breaded Pork Chops
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 425 degrees F. Using parchment paper, line a rimmed baking sheet.
Step 2: Place the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and salt, and black pepper in a shallow bowl. Mix well.
Step 3: On another shallow plate, place the flour and season with salt.
Step 4: Add the whisked eggs into another shallow bowl.
Step 5: Using a paper towel, pat the pork chops dry. Dredge the chops lightly in flour, then dip into the egg, coating all sides. Lastly, coat the chops in the bread crumb mixture.
Step 6: In a frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chops to the hot oil and cook for about a minute on each side.
Step 7: Transfer the pork chops to the prepared baking sheet when done and place them in the preheated oven. Bake the chops for approximately 12 to 14 minutes or until their internal temperature reached 145 degrees F.
Step 8: Remove from the oven when done and let the pork chops rest before serving.
Notes:
1. If using plain or Panko breadcrumbs, make sure to add some Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the mixture.
2. For this recipe, I used about an inch lean boneless centre loin chops. But feel free to use different types, keeping in mind that the cooking time varies.
3. To make sure that the pork chops are not overcooked, use a meat thermometer to check their internal temperature. I always remove the chops a couple of degrees sooner. As the chops rest, the temperature will continue to rise.
