Surely, these may be the simplest and quickest side dish that without a doubt hit all the right spots! These by far the best potatoes I have ever tasted. And whenever I make these, everyone’s asking what the heck is on these potatoes? I just give them the smirk if you know what I mean. So now I figured why not share the recipe with everybody? And just one important tip, though, use only real egg mayo and you are on your way to the best-tasting potatoes in the world! Although, I must say that this is a pretty easy, simple recipe, but don’t be deceived because these potatoes are out of this world delicious! And it is the perfect side dish, great with anything especially barbeque or any meal! As you can tell I am going gaga over these lovely potatoes. Try it and you’ll be the judge.
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon dried oregano
salt and pepper to taste
5 potatoes, quartered
How to make the Best Potatoes
Step 1: Mix the mayonnaise, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. And set aside.
Step 2: Place the potatoes into a large pot with boiling salted water. Cook the potatoes for approximately 10 minutes or until almost done. Make sure to not overcook the potatoes or else they will break apart. Once almost cooked, drain the potatoes and let them cool.
Step 3: Prepare the broiler and line with aluminum foil a baking tray and grease.
Step 4: Place the potatoes in the greased baking tray. Use a spoon to put some mayonnaise mixture over the potatoes. Then, place the tray onto the prepared grill and cook for about 10 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the mayonnaise mixture is almost browned. Once done, remove from the grill and transfer to a serving plate. Serve and enjoy!
