CHEESY CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI CASSEROLE

Hearty casserole filled with cheesy chicken and broccoli – a must-have and to die for! Super simple, easy to prepare, and sure to come out delicious!

Ingredients

1 teaspoon unsalted butter, or as needed
2 eaches skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cubed
3 cups finely chopped broccoli
2 (10.5 ounces) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup sour cream
ground black pepper to taste

HOW TO MAKE CHEESY CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI CASSEROLE

Step 1: Ready the oven. Preheat it to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 2: use butter to grease the sides and bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

Step 3: Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add in the chicken and cook for about 5 to 10 minutes until thoroughly cooked.

Step 4: Mix the cream of chicken soup, broccoli, half cup parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, Cheddar cheese, sour cream, and pepper in a large mixing bowl until well combined.

Step 5: Go back to the chicken, check if it’s done. Then, take the chicken out of the pot and drain. And stir in the broccoli mixture.

Step 6: Add the broccoli and chicken mixture into the buttered baking dish and evenly spread over.

Step 7: Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese over and continue baking for 5 minutes more or until the cheese has melted.

Step 8: Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool at room temperature before serving. Enjoy!

Note:

1. You can use frozen broccoli instead of fresh. And any variety of cheese, if desired.
