CHOCOLATE PECAN CHEESECAKE PIE

I have been a huge fan of this pie recipe since college. My roommate introduced this to me and I am so glad that she did because it became my favourite pie! Now, I get to bake it for my kids. They love it so much that they always want me to bake it for them! Give this one a try and I am sure that this will make it to your top list of pie recipes!

Ingredients

1 refrigerated pie crust
1 c dark chocolate chips
3 tbsp whipping cream
8 oz cream cheese
3/4 c sugar, divided
2 tsp vanilla extract
4 Eggs
1/4 tsp salt
3 tbsp melted butter
1 c light corn syrup
1 1/2 c pecan halves

HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE PECAN CHEESECAKE PIE

Step 1: Ready the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Place the crust in a deep-dish pie plate.

Step 3: Mix the cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, egg, and salt in a mixing bowl.

Step 4: Place the dark chocolate and whipping cream in a microwavable dish. Heat it for a minute in the microwave.

Step 5: Stir both ingredients until well blended.

Step 6: Mix 3 eggs, melted butter, 1/4 cup sugar, corn syrup, and 1 teaspoon vanilla in a mixing bowl.

Step 7: Add in pecans and mix.

Step 8: Pour the chocolate mixture into a pie crust. Spread the mixture using a spatula.

Step 9: Layer the cream cheese on top of the chocolate mixture.

Step 10: Layer the pecan mixture on top of the cream cheese.

Step 11: Bake inside the oven for about 55 minutes.

Step 12: Allow it to cool on a wire rack.

Step 13: Enjoy!

Note:

Place any leftover in the fridge.
