Creamy Garlic Pasta

Comforting and the perfect weeknight dinner if you are craving creamy pasta. Ready in less than twenty minutes, this recipe would be your new favourite. The penne pasta is smothered in an amazing white sauce easily made with cream, butter, and garlic. Simply mouthwatering! This creamy garlic pasta is surely a must-try and for keeps!


1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 block cream cheese softened and cut into chunks
4 oz. salted butter
1 heaping teaspoon minced garlic
2 tsp dried parsley flakes
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp garlic powder
1 c. water
1 c. heavy whipping cream
8 oz. Parmesan cheese shredded
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
½ tsp salt for pasta
16 oz. penne pasta 1 box

How to make Creamy Garlic Pasta

Step 1: Following the package directions, cook the pasta in a large pot with salted boiling water until al dente. Drain when done and return the pasta to the pot.

Step 2: In a small bowl with 1 cup of water, add the bouillon cube. Heat in the microwave for about 2 minutes on a high setting. Set aside.

Step 3: Melt the stick of butter in a large saucepan over low-medium heat. Add the chunks of cream cheese once the butter has melted along with the minced garlic, garlic powder, dried parsley flakes, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper. Stir well.

Step 4: To the pan, pour in the chicken broth and add the heavy whipping cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir well and let it come to a low boil over medium heat.

Step 5: Add 5 tbsp sauce to a small bowl with 1 tbsp flour. Mix well using a spoon. Pour this into the sauce mixture and stir well. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring often.

Step 6: Over the noodles, pour the sauce. Toss and serve immediately. Enjoy!
