This is a classic casserole that is loaded with chicken and broccoli. A simple dish that everyone is talking about – creamy with french-fried onion. It is a fantastic addition to your weekly menu. Even your picky eaters will not mind the vegetable. This is a savory, super delicious, simply divine Chicken Divan that you will crave over and over again. A must-try and to die for!


2 cups cooked, cubed chicken breast meat
1 pound fresh broccoli, cooked and chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
1 ½ tbsp curry powder
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp garlic salt
salt and pepper to taste
2 ½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
1 (10.75 oz) can condense cream of chicken soup
1 (10.75 oz) can condense cream of mushroom soup
1 (6 oz) can French-fried onions


Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.

Step 2: In the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, spread the chicken and add the broccoli on top.

Step 3: Add the mayonnaise, curry powder, cayenne pepper, garlic salt, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Mix well to combine.

Step 4: Stir in 1 cup Cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, and cream of mushroom soup.

Step 5: Pour this on top of the chicken and broccoli.

Step 6: Then, sprinkle with the rest of the cheese with onions.

Step 7: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes.


1. In under 30 minutes, you’ll have this dish on your table if using leftover baked chicken breasts or rotisserie chicken. Serve this alongside a fresh, green salad and some Homemade Garlic Butter bread. This is a complete meal that your whole family will crave always.

2. Instead of cream of mushroom soup, you can use cream of chicken, cheddar, or broccoli. They work great in this recipe, too. Some prefer using sour cream but I fancy mayo more.
