You have to give this a try very soon! It’s one of the most amazing dishes I’ve made. It’s easy, quick, and incredibly delicious! Before this recipe, I did not know that shrimp scampi seasoning is a thing. It is seriously hard to find! I had to ask a friend to wing it for me. But all the bustle and hustle is all worth it!

This fifteen-minute dinner recipe creates a wonderful dish that is perfect for the entire family. Serve this with a light salad for a complete meal or enjoy this as is with a glass of wine.

Ingredients

8 ounces linguine or other pasta
1/4 c. olive oil
1/4 c. butter (half stick)
1 pound defrosted large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 package McCormic® Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi Seasoning Mix
1 tablespoon lemon juice or 2 tablespoons white wine (optional)

How to make Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi

Step 1: Following the package directions, cook the pasta. Drain well when done.

Step 2: In the meantime, in a large skillet, heat the oil and butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and Seasoning Mix once the butter has melted and cooked for about 3 to 4 minutes until the shrimp is pink. Add in the lemon juice or wine (if desired) and stir well.

Step 3: Add the cooked and drained pasta. Toss to coat the pasta well with the sauce. Before serving, garnish with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired. Enjoy!
