Everyone love Snickerdoodle cookies! They are super easy and quick to make. Delicious and excellent to give as gifts.

1 ½ cups white sugar
1 cup softened butter
2 large eggs
2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Step 1: Ready the oven. Preheat it to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.

Step 2: Use cooking spray to grease a baking sheet.

Step 3: Add the butter, eggs, and 1 1/2 cups of sugar in a medium mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to beat until whipped.

Step 4: Mix the cream of tartar, baking soda, flour, and salt in a different mixing bowl until incorporated. Add this into the butter mixture and stir until well mixed.

Step 5: Combine the cinnamon with 2 tablespoons white sugar in a medium mixing bowl until well mixed.

Step 6: Out of the dough, make balls and coat each into the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Transfer the coated dough balls on a lined or greased baking sheet about 2-inches apart from each other.

Step 7: Bake in the preheated oven for about 7 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 8: Once done, let the cookies sit in the oven for at least 5 minutes and onto a wire rack to fully cool before serving. Enjoy!

1. For the best result, ensure to allow the cookies to sit in the oven for at least 5 minutes.

2. Place any leftovers in a resealable bag.
