Two of my favourites in a fruity, nutty, and luscious bread – pineapples and walnuts. A moist and soft loaf that has a wonderful Hawaiian taste, and excellent texture in every bite! This toothsome Nutty Pineapple Bread is everything! A must try and a keeper!
Ingredients
2 large eggs
½ cup melted butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup crushed pineapple with juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¾ teaspoon salt
½ cup chopped walnuts
How to make Nutty Pineapple Bread
Step 1: Ready the oven. Preheat it to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Use cooking spray to grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Step 3: Mix the butter, egg, and sugar in a medium mixing bowl until smooth. Add in and stir the vanilla and pineapple until incorporated.
Step 4: Combine the baking powder, flour, walnuts, soda, and salt in a different mixing bowl until well mixed. Add this to the pineapple mixture and mix until well blended and moist. Shift this into the prepared loaf pan.
Step 5: Bake in the preheated oven for about an hour or until a toothpick inserted in the centre of the bread comes out clean.
Step 6: Once done, turn the oven off and allow the bread to sit inside for at least 10 minutes or until set.
Step 7: Remove from the oven. Use plastic to wrap the bread until completely cool.
