Oreo Dirt Cake

Always a huge hit, a winner, and everyone’s favourite! This Oreo Dirt Cake is irreplaceable, heavenly delicious with layers of fudge, pudding, and Oreos. A sweet treat for all the Oreo lovers out there!

Ingredients

CAKE:

1 box chocolate cake mix *plus ingredients on back of the box

PUDDING LAYER:

30 Oreos, crushed
12.8 ounces hot fudge
3.4 ounces chocolate instant pudding mix
1 3/4 c milk

TOPPING:

3.4 ounces chocolate instant pudding mix
1 3/4 c milk
8 ounces cool whip, thawed

How to make Oreo Dirt Cake

To make the Cake:

Step 1: Follow the package direction to prepare the cake. When done, take the cake out of the oven and let it cool for at least 10 minutes.

Step 2: Evenly poke holes around the cake with the back of the spoon.

Step 3: In the microwave, warm the hot fudge until it is thin enough to pour.

Step 4: Pour the warm hot fudge all over the cake and let the cake seep the fudge.

Step 5: Allow the cake to completely cool.

To make the Pudding Layer:

Step 6: Mix the chocolate mix pudding and milk in a medium bowl.

Step 7: Pour the pudding over the cake before the pudding sets completely.

Step 8: Chill in the fridge for at least 20 minutes.

To make the Topping:

Step 9: Combine the remaining pudding with milk in a medium bowl. Let it set in the fridge for at least 10 minutes.

Step 10: Take the pudding out of the fridge and fold in the thawed cool whip.

Step 11: Add in around 3/4 crushed Oreos into the pudding mixture and evenly spread over the cake.

Step 12: Garnish with the rest of the crushed Oreos on top before serving. Or sit in the fridge until ready to serve.
