These are the prettiest cookies I’ve seen in forever! Peanut butter cookies topped with Hershey’s kisses are darn gorgeous! They look like they were made by a professional. Don’t be intimated though because these cookies are pretty easy to make. It’s like making a regular cookie, you just have to be quick and make sure to firmly press the Hershey’s Kisses on them while still hot. I make these in batches, and I make sure to make a lot because my kids are addicted to it. They want everything for themselves! And even without the Hershey’s kisses you still get a delightful peanut butter cookies. So either way, it’s a win! These cookies are pretty to give as gifts and delicious to bring to a potluck. I’m sure they will be impressed by how these cookies look. And it’s perfect for the chocolate peanut butter lovers out there. Devour these soft, sweet, and delicious cookies.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup shortening
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
granulated sugar
3 dozen Hershey chocolate kisses
How to make Peanut Butter Hershey’s Kiss Cookies
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Step 2: Place the half cup of sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, butter, shortening, and eggs in a mixing bowl. Mix until thoroughly combined.
Step 3: Add in the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Stir until incorporated.
Step 4: Form the dough into an inch ball, then, roll in sugar. Place the dough on ungreased cookie shit about 2 inches apart.
Step 5: Place inside the oven and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges are light brown.
Step 6: Once done, remove from the oven and quickly press firmly the candy kisses into the cookie dough. Let the cookies cool before serving. Enjoy!
