Pepperoni Pizza Casserole is an amazing casserole filled with cheesy goodness and topped with your favorite pizza toppings. It’s a great idea for potlucks or serving guests. This casserole is super easy to make using just a couple of simple ingredients. My kids are obsessed with this Pepperoni Pizza Casserole! This casserole is one of my family’s favorite rotations. It’s excellent for busy days or if you need an impressive meal to serve to guests. It is cheesy, crazy delicious, and a family and kid-friendly meal. If you have picky eaters like I do, I am pretty sure that they’ll dig this Pepperoni Pizza Casserole!
Ingredients
1 c. Diced pepperoni
24 ounces of Pizza sauce
12 ounces Rotini
½ c. Whole pepperoni
1 tsp Oregano, dried
2 ½ c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
How to make Pepperoni Pizza Casserole
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. Using nonstick cooking spray, grease a casserole dish, and set aside.
Step 2: Following the package directions, cook the pasta. Drain when done and return the cooked and drained pasta to the pot. Then, add the pizza sauce along with the diced pepperoni, and 1 ½ cup mozzarella cheese. Stir well and transfer the mixture into the prepared casserole dish.
Step 3: On top of the casserole, add the rest of the cheese, then the whole pepperoni, and sprinkle with oregano.
Step 4: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 7 to 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Step 5: Take the casserole out of the oven when done and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Tips:
Use diced and whole pepperonis for this recipe. Mix the diced pepperoni well into the casserole dish and top with the whole pepperonis. If desired, you can use mini pepperoni instead of dicing whole pepperonis.
