Fork-tender pork tenderloins smothered in a rich sauce, that’s what you can expect from this dish! It will only take you 35 minutes to prepare and cook this. You are so in for a treat!
Ingredients:
3 garlic cloves, very finely chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil (or butter)
2 pork tenderloins (pork fillet), 500 grams / 1-pound each
PORK TENDERLOIN RUB:
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
HONEY GARLIC SAUCE:
1/2 c honey (or maple syrup)
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce, light or all-purpose
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat it to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients to the sauce. Stir everything until well blended.
In another mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the rub. Whisk everything until well incorporated.
Place a large heat-safe skillet on the stove and turn the heat to high. Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the pork tenderloins into the hot skillet, then sear each side for a few minutes until they turn golden brown.
Move the pork tenderloins to one side of the skillet, then stir in the garlic and saute for about a minute or until slightly toasted.
Add the sauce, then stir everything until well combined.
Remove the skillet from the heat and move it into the preheated oven. Cook for 15 to 18 minutes or until done.
Transfer the pork tenderloins onto a clean plate, then cover them with foil to keep them warm.
Put the skillet back on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high. Simmer the sauce for about 3 minutes.
Remove the skillet from the heat, then put the pork tenderloins back in it. Toss to coat with the delicious sauce.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Make sure to use light soy sauce for this recipe.
You can use a baking tray to roast the pork if you do not have an oven-safe skillet.
