PUMPKIN FRENCH TOAST BAKE

Perfectly sweet, not mushy Pumpkin French Toast Bake. A must-have this Halloween and all year round! Excellent for breakfast, brunch, even lunch or dinner if you must. With only a few simple readily available ingredients, this delicious dish is ready in no time!

Ingredients

8 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground cloves
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 (15 ounces) can pumpkin puree
1 loaf Texas toast thick-sliced bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
⅓ cup brown sugar
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon butter, softened

HOW TO MAKE PUMPKIN FRENCH TOAST BAKE

Step 1: Ready the oven. Preheat it to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Use cooking spray to grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

Step 3: Combine the eggs, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, vanilla extract, nutmeg, white sugar, and cloves in a medium mixing bowl until well mixed. Add and mix the pumpkin until well blended.

Step 4: Arrange the bread cubes in a single layer into the prepared baking dish.

Step 5: Pour the pumpkin mixture over the bread cubes and carefully toss until the bread cubes are evenly coated.

Step 6: Mix the flour, 1/3 cup of brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon for cinnamon, and butter in a small mixing bowl until crumby. Sprinkle this over the bread cubes.

Step 7: Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 8: Once done, remove from the oven and let the toast cool at room temperature.
