Roasted Chicken with Garlic & Herbs

This Roasted Chicken is stuffed with herbs that everyone is going to love! This is roasted chicken at its finest! In just 1 hour and 15 minutes, dinner will be served! Try this recipe now. You will not be disappointed, I promise. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

A bunch of thyme + 1 tbsp fresh thyme
½ onion
3 tbsp butter, melted
1 head of garlic sliced in half horizontally
1 whole young chicken about 3 ½ pounds
Lemon slices for serving
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt

Directions:

Prepare the oven and preheat it to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.

Use paper towels to pat dry the chicken. Discard any giblet and fold the wings towards the breasts. Use kitchen twine to tie the legs together.

Add thyme, salt, pepper, and melted butter into a mixing bowl. Stir everything until well blended.

Rub the chicken all over with the butter mixture. Make sure to coat the insides too.

Fill the chicken with thyme, onion, and garlic. Lay it onto a large baking dish.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and roast the chicken for about 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes or until an inserted instant-read thermometer reaches a temperature of 165 degrees F.

Remove the Roasted Chicken with Garlic & Herbs from the oven and spoon the juices over. Let it sit at room temperature for at least 15 minutes before cutting.
