Ingredients:
4 tbsp of butter
Seasoning to taste
4 chicken leg quarters (about 3 lbs.)
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat it to 150 degrees C or 300 degrees F.
Use paper towels to pat dry the chicken legs.
Lay the chicken legs into a rimmed baking dish and arrange them in a single layer.
Add butter into a heat-proof bowl, then place it in the microwave. Heat for a few minutes until melted completely. Brush each chicken leg with it.
Sprinkle your preferred seasonings on top of the chicken legs.
Cover the entire baking dish with aluminum foil, then place it in the preheated oven and bake the chicken legs for about an hour.
Turn the heat to about 425 degrees F.
Remove the foil cover from the baking dish, then bake the chicken legs for another 10 to 20 minutes or until done.
Remove the baking dish from the oven and let the chicken legs rest for a few minutes before serving to incorporate all the flavors.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
You can season these chicken legs simply with salt and pepper. Otherwise, feel free to add anything you want to make them more delicious!
Make sure to keep the skin on the chicken. They will taste incredible once baked!
