2 pounds sirloin tips, cubed
½ yellow onion, chopped
2 (10.75 ounces) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
½ cup red wine
1 (1.25 ounce) package beef with onion soup mix
2 (16 ounce) packages egg noodles


Step 1: Cook the beef sirloin tips in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Saute with the onion and cook for approximately 5 minutes or until the cooked through and the onion is translucent.

Step 2: Mix the milk, mushroom soup, and red wine in a large mixing bowl until well combined. Pour this over the beef. Stir well until the sirloin is evenly coated with the sauce.

Step 3: Adjust the heat to medium-low and continue to simmer for about 2 hours or until the beef is soft and tender.

Step 4: Cook for 4 hours more at low heat until the beef breaks apart.

Step 5: In a large pot with boiling salted water, cook the egg noodles for about 5 minutes or until al dente. Once done, drain and rinse in cold water.

Step 6: Scoop the cooked beef tips over the egg noodles with a ladle. Serve and enjoy!
